Introduction
What is SongHQ?
SongHQ is a production workspace for sellers who make custom songs — the kind of "personalized song for a birthday / wedding / anniversary" gigs sold on Etsy, Fiverr, and similar marketplaces. Instead of juggling DMs, spreadsheets, and manually pasted Suno links, SongHQ gives you one place to collect the customer's brief, generate lyrics and songs, get the customer's approval, and deliver a branded final product.
SongHQ does not sell songs to end customers and does not touch their payment. Your customer pays you on Etsy, Fiverr, or wherever you already sell — SongHQ is the tool you use behind the scenes to fulfill that order faster and more consistently.
Who it's for
If you sell custom songs and currently juggle any of this, SongHQ is built for you:
- Chasing customers over DM for the details you need (names, occasion, tone, must-mention lines)
- Generating in the Suno web app and pasting links into messages by hand
- No consistent way for the customer to say "yes, this version" before you deliver
- No record of which order is at which stage when you have more than a couple running at once
Core workflow
- Share an intake form link with your customer (or embed it in your Etsy/Fiverr listing). They fill in the occasion, names, tone, and any custom fields you've defined — no account required on their end.
- The order lands on your Kanban board in the Awaiting Info column as soon as the form is submitted.
- Generate lyrics, then a song, then cover art in the order's workbench. Each generation creates a new version; you pick the one you want to move forward with.
- Send a review link so the customer can listen and approve, or request changes, without needing to create an account.
- Deliver — SongHQ generates a branded delivery page with the final audio, cover art, and download links. Your logo and store name are on it; SongHQ's own branding is hidden if you're on a white-label plan.
The seller dashboard
/dashboard is your home base: orders placed this month, how many are in progress, your remaining credit balance, and a breakdown of how many orders are waiting to be generated, in review, or ready to deliver — plus your most recent orders.
Order board (Kanban)
/orders shows every order moving through five stages:
- Awaiting Info — customer hasn't finished the intake form, or you're still waiting on details
- Awaiting Generation — you have what you need; lyrics/song/cover haven't been finalized yet
- In Review — a review link has been sent and you're waiting on customer feedback
- Awaiting Delivery — approved and ready for you to deliver
- Completed — delivered
Drag a card between columns as it progresses. Cards that sit in the same column for 48+ hours are flagged in red so nothing quietly stalls.
Order workbench
Click into any order (/orders/[id]) to do the actual production work:
- Customer brief — the structured answers from the intake form, laid out for quick reading
- Lyrics, Song, Cover Art, Lyric Card — four independent version tracks. Generate as many versions of each as you need and mark the one you're using as selected. Regenerating uses the same credit-accounting path as the first generation, so nothing is double-counted or skipped
- Auto-generate button — if you've connected your own Suno account (see below), this calls the Suno API directly and polls for completion in the background; you can close the tab and come back
- Review link — generate a shareable, no-login link the customer can open to approve or request changes
- Delivery link — once approved, generate the branded delivery page and mark the order delivered
- Notes and stage shortcuts — jot internal notes and jump the order forward a stage without dragging the Kanban card
Intake forms
/forms is where you design what you ask customers for. Add custom fields (text, textarea, select, radio), mark which are required, and attach a brand so the form matches your store's look. Each form gets a shareable link customers open at /s/[your-slug] — no login needed. Submissions become new orders automatically, landing in Awaiting Info.
Brand & white-label
/brand controls what your customers see: logo, store name, accent color, and a closing message shown on delivery pages. You can run multiple brands if you sell under more than one storefront name. White-label (hiding the "Powered by SongHQ" mark) and multi-brand limits scale with your plan — see Plans below.
Connecting Suno (BYO)
/connections/suno is where you link your own Suno account, via your Suno API key, so generations run under your account rather than a shared platform key. Your key is encrypted before it's stored and never shown back to you in full. The page shows your connection status, remaining balance, and when it was last checked, and you can disconnect and reconnect at any time.
Generating with your own connected account does not draw from your SongHQ monthly credits — those credits cover platform-side work like cover art and any generation run without a connected Suno account.
Templates
/templates lets you save reusable starting points — style, vocal preference, and prompt skeletons — so you're not rebuilding the same brief from scratch for every "upbeat acoustic birthday song" order that comes in.
Customers (CRM-lite)
/customers (Pro and Studio plans) keeps a lightweight record of who's ordered from you and how many times, so repeat customers are easy to spot.
What your customers see
Your customers never log in or see the SongHQ dashboard. They only ever see three simple, brand-matched pages:
- Intake (
/s/[slug]) — fill in the brief for their song - Review (
/review/[slug]) — listen to the selected lyrics/song version and approve or request changes - Delivery (
/delivery/[slug]) — the finished song, cover art, and downloads, with your branding
Credits and plans
SongHQ runs on a monthly credit + plan-limit model:
| Plan | Price / month | Credits / month | Brands | Templates | CRM | White-label |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $19 | 30 | 1 | 10 | — | — |
| Pro | $49 | 100 | 3 | 30 | ✓ | — |
| Studio | $99 | 300 | Unlimited | Unlimited | ✓ | ✓ |
Credits cover cover-art generation and any song generation run without a connected Suno account. Generating through your own connected Suno account does not consume monthly credits — it's limited only by your own Suno account, not by your SongHQ plan.
